Overpacked Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 September 2026
Overpacked is made by shokupan studios. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is short because the app does little.
We do not have accounts
Overpacked has no sign-in, no username, and no server of ours that stores your data. Your progress — which levels you have finished, how many stars, your settings and your hints — is kept on your device only. Deleting the app deletes it.
What is collected
Advertising. Overpacked shows ads, which is what pays for it. Ads are served by Google AdMob, which may receive your device’s advertising identifier, coarse location derived from your IP address, and information about the ads you were shown. If you allow tracking when iOS asks, that identifier is used to make the ads more relevant and to tell us which ads brought new players in. If you do not allow it, you still see ads; they are simply less relevant. You can change your mind at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Google’s own policy covers what they do with it: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Purchases. Buying No Ads or a hint pack goes through Apple. We never see your card details, name or address — only whether the purchase happened, so the app can unlock what you bought.
Gameplay events. The app records events such as starting and finishing a level, moves taken, hints used and time spent, so we can tell which levels are too hard. These are stored on your device. They are not tied to your name or your Apple Account.
What is not collected
No contacts, photos, microphone, camera, precise location, health data, or files. The app asks for none of these permissions.
Children
Overpacked is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
If you buy No Ads
Interstitial ads stop permanently on any device signed in to the same Apple Account. Rewarded videos remain available if you choose to watch one, and only if you choose.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date above changes and the new version appears here before the change takes effect.
