Overpacked Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Shokupan Studios LLC (“Shokupan Studios”, “we”, “us”) about Overpacked (the “game”). By downloading or playing the game you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not play.

The short version

Play the game and enjoy it. Do not cheat, copy it, or break it for other people. Purchases go through Apple. The game is provided as it is, and we may change it over time.

Your licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play Overpacked on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store’s Usage Rules. The game is licensed to you, not sold.

What you agree not to do

• Copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the game, except where the law expressly allows it
• Use cheats, automation or modified builds to get purchases or content without paying for them
• Interfere with the ads, purchases or other systems the game relies on
• Use the game in any way that breaks the law

Purchases

Overpacked is free to play and offers optional in-app purchases, such as removing interstitial ads and hint packs.

• All purchases are processed by Apple, under Apple’s terms and using the payment method on your Apple Account. We never see your payment details.
• Remove ads is a one-time purchase. It can be restored on any device signed in to the same Apple Account from Settings → Restore purchases.
• Hint packs are consumable. Hints are a licensed in-game item with no cash value, cannot be exchanged or transferred, and are stored on your device. Deleting the game or resetting your device removes unused hints, and they cannot be restored.
• Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. You can request one at https://reportaproblem.apple.com

Ads

The game is supported by advertising, served by Google AdMob. Rewarded videos only play when you choose to watch one. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or for anything they link to. How ad data is handled is covered in the Privacy Policy.

Your progress

Progress is saved on your device only. There is no account and no cloud save, so we cannot recover progress or unused items that are lost when the game is deleted or a device is reset.

Changes to the game

We may add, change or remove levels, features, prices and items, and we may stop offering the game. We will try not to take away anything you have paid for without a good reason.

Ownership

Overpacked, including its name, art, characters, levels, code and sound, belongs to Shokupan Studios LLC and is protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not give you any rights to our trademarks or content beyond playing the game.

No warranty

The game is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of bugs, though we do try.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Shokupan Studios LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the game, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us through the game in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.

Children

Overpacked is not directed at children under 13. If you are under 18, please play with the permission of a parent or guardian, especially before making purchases.

Ending these terms

You can end this agreement at any time by deleting the game. We may end or suspend your licence if you break these terms.

Apple

These terms are between you and Shokupan Studios, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the game or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms with the right to enforce them against you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Shokupan Studios LLC is organised, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a way that matters, the date above changes and the new version appears here. Continuing to play after that means you accept the new terms.
